Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Omniscient collects, why, and what you can do about it. Omniscient is run by Perceptric ("Omniscient", "we", "us"). Questions go to hello@tryomniscient.com.
Who this covers
- Customers and their team members who use the Omniscient app at tryomniscient.com.
- People our customers email or meet with. When a customer connects Gmail and Google Calendar, Omniscient records their business contacts. For that data, the customer decides what is collected and we process it for them.
- Visitors to tryomniscient.com.
What we collect
Account data. Your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
Workspace content. The contacts, companies, deals, stages, amounts and settings in your workspace.
Google account data you connect. See the next section for the full details.
Usage and device data. Pages you open in the app, errors, browser type and IP address. We use this to run, secure and improve the service.
Google user data
When you connect a Google account, you choose to give Omniscient read-only access to:
- Gmail (
gmail.readonly): for each message we read the sender, recipients, subject, date, a short preview (the "snippet") and the headers that mark mailing lists. For conversations with people outside your team, our AI also reads the message text to pull out next steps, promises, budgets and dates. We never store that text. It is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, and we delete it there as soon as the result comes back. We keep only short quotes (under 30 words) as proof for each fact. We never open attachments. - Google Calendar (
calendar.readonly): events on your main calendar, including the title, time, attendees, description and meeting link. - Google Meet (
meetings.space.readonly, only if you turn on call notes): the transcript of calls you were on, when someone on the call turned transcription on. Our AI reads it to write notes. We never store the transcript. We keep the notes and short quotes (under 30 words) as proof.
How we use it. Only to provide the features you see in Omniscient: creating contacts, companies and deals, filing emails and meetings under them, and showing your activity feed and upcoming meetings. Mail from newsletters, notifications and people inside your own team is skipped and not stored.
How we store it. In our database, encrypted at rest. Your Google sign-in token is encrypted again on top of that, and only our servers can read it.
Who sees it. You and the members of your workspace, limited by the sharing setting you pick for each inbox you connect. "Share everything" shows teammates subjects, previews and AI facts with quotes. "Share who and when" shows who you talked to and when, plus AI facts, without subjects, previews or quotes. "Keep private" shows teammates nothing from that inbox, and AI facts, tasks and suggestions from it stay with you. If you leave a workspace or an admin removes you, your inboxes are disconnected and the emails they brought in are deleted. No person at Omniscient reads your Google data unless you ask us to (for example, for support), it is needed for security or to follow the law, or it has been combined and made anonymous for running the service.
What we never do. We never sell Google user data, use it for advertising, use it to decide credit or lending, or use it to train general-purpose AI or machine learning models. We never send, delete or change anything in your Google account.
AI features. When you use an AI feature, such as Ask Omniscient, meeting prep, a drafted reply or an agent, the data needed for that request is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to produce the result for you. Anthropic processes it under API terms that do not allow training on it. Ask Omniscient only looks up what you can already see in the app, and your chats are visible only to you. Drafts and agent results wait for your approval: Omniscient never sends email for you. When you approve a draft, it opens in Gmail for you to send.
Limited Use. Omniscient's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Disconnecting and deleting. You can disconnect a Google account at any time in Settings. We then revoke our access, stop syncing and delete the emails and meetings we stored from that account. You can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To delete everything, including contacts and companies, email hello@tryomniscient.com.

Who we share data with
We use these service providers to run Omniscient:

How long we keep data
- Account and workspace data: while your account is open. When you delete your workspace, we delete its data within 30 days. Backups roll off within a further 30 days.
- Emails and meetings from a Google account: until you disconnect that account or delete your workspace.
- Error and security logs: up to 90 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, object to some uses, or withdraw consent. Email hello@tryomniscient.com. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.
Cookies and local storage
The app uses your browser's local storage to keep you signed in. This is needed for the app to work. We do not use advertising cookies. Google's sign-in button may set its own cookies.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Google sign-in tokens are encrypted again on top of that. Access inside the company is limited to people who need it.
Children
Omniscient is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If we make important changes, we will tell you by email or in the app before they apply.
